ARU is an all-women institution in Uganda dedicated to fostering professional expertise in Rural Development. Founded by the Uganda Rural Development and Training Programme (URDT), ARU is committed to cultivating effective change agents within the African context. Our education model emphasizes a blend of theory (60%) and practical application (40%), empowering students through real-life community projects.
